Love2Swim School was born in 2010 from a deep love of the water and a desire to teach others how to enjoy it safely. Founded by Townsville locals David and Kristie Love-Pelletier, the school began as a boutique swim program in the backyard of their home — a humble beginning fuelled by big dreams.

As demand grew, so did the school. In 2011, Love2Swim made the exciting move to the Kirwan Aquatic Centre, expanding its reach and offerings. Since then, the school has continued to flourish, also delivering lessons at Kokoda Memorial Pool and running swim programs for Townsville Grammar School students in North Ward.

Kristie’s lifelong dedication to swim teaching has taken her around the globe. Along the way, she’s learned from some of the best in the industry, bringing world-class techniques back to Townsville. Her true passion lies in teaching babies to swim, and she is continually enhancing the Love2Swim babies program by attending professional development courses and conferences across Australia.
